दोनों ने सोचा था,
ये कहेंगे, वो कहेंगे,
कानों को क्या मालूम था,
मिलने पर वे चुप रहेंगे

दोनों ने इकट्ठी की हँसी,
ऐसे हँसाएंगे, ऐसे हँसेंगे,
ओंठों को क्या मालूम था,
मिलने पर बस अश्रु बहेंगे

दोनों ने सीमायें बनायीं,
अंग-अंग को ऐसे रखेंगे,
हाथों को क्या मालूम था,
मिलने पर अटूट आलिंगन करेंगे

They will say, this or that,
But the ears didn’t know,
They will be silent upon meeting.

Both have gathered laughter,
Make Laugh like this, laugh like that,
But the lips didn’t know,
Only tear-drops will flow in meeting.

Both drew rules & boundaries,
That will Keep the organs like this,
But the hands didn’t know,
There will be A Unbreakable hug upon meeting.
